Wargame Red Dragon

In detail - Command zones
Command zones
In Wargame, units are not constructed on the battlefield, but called as reinforcements from outside the combat zone.

Calling for reinforcements costs precious Command Points. Not only do you receive a certain number of Command Points at the start of the game, but you can earn more in battle by capturing specific key zones and strategic points on the battlefield. These are called ‘Command Zones’. Attacking thus becomes rewarding, because you can call for new units to replace your casualties and reverse a seemingly desperate situation.
However, note that a great Command Points reserve is completely useless if you do not control a Reinforcement Sector! Reinforcement Sectors are generally located on the edge on the map and enable you - when you control them - to open a reinforcement channel. Control all sectors, and you will actually prevent your enemy from calling new units to the battlefield!
Only vulnerable and expensive command vehicles may claim Reinforcement Sectors. You will have to protect or hide them effectively, lest you should lose your last chance of securing a victory!
